This calculator measures the span between two calendar dates. The total days count is the whole number of days from the start date to the end date; weeks divides that by seven. The years-months-days breakdown walks the calendar the way people do — it borrows real month lengths, so it correctly handles months of 28 to 31 days and leap years. Business days count only Monday through Friday, skipping every Saturday and Sunday in the range, which is handy for delivery windows or working-day deadlines.
Dates are read as local calendar days with no time-of-day component, so daylight-saving shifts and time zones never throw the count off by one. If you swap the order, the tool automatically treats the earlier date as the start. Everything runs locally in your browser and nothing is uploaded.
